Daniel Jones showing some leadership
Original: The New York Giants have shown that as an organization they’re all in when it comes to helping quarterback Daniel Jones succeed after signing Kenny Golladay, John Ross and Kyle Rudolph so far this offseason.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network says that Jones will be spending this week with some of the wide receivers, tight ends and offensive lineman from the Giants out in Arizona.
It certainly looks like Jones knows this is a make or break season coming up for him and he has to prove to the Giants and the rest of the world that he’s not a bust. If he can’ get New York to the playoffs in 2021, he could be replaced in 2022.
Having a week to work out with some of his offensive teammates will be great for Jones because number one this does show his leadership and it will help them bond and gel together on and off the field.
