Travis Rudolph hit with murder charge
Some shocking news came over the wire on Wednesday when the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office in Florida announced that former New York Giants’ wide receiver Travis Rudolph has been charged with first degree murder with a firearm, as well as attempted first degree murder with a firearm.
Rudolph was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Giants in 2017 after playing college football at Florida State University. He played seven games for New York in 2017 and was released in 2018 and was signed to the Miami Dolphins’ practice squad.
Rudoolph has been a part of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL from 2020-2021. I would imagine that he will be released now.
He is also the cousin of one of the greatest kick returners in NFL history in Devin Hester.
Back in 2016, Rudolph made national headlines after eating lunch with a boy named Bo Paske, who is an autistic student that was eating alone while at school.
This is a such a sad and tragic situation. Our thoughts and prayers with the all of the families affected.
