Giants keep adding assistant coaches
The New York Giants just added assistant coach Russ Callaway to their coaching staff. He has a history with head coach Joe Judge that dates back to them both being at Alabama.
Now Judge and company are bringing in another coach from Bama with FootballScoop.com reporting that the Giants are hiring Carter Blount. He msot recently coached for the University of Tennessee football program. He was at Alabama when Judge was there under head coach Nick Saban.
Paul Schwartz of the New York Post says that Blount will serve as the defensive quality control coach.
With the Giants giving Mike Treier a promotion, Blount will fill his former job.
Is it me, or does it feel like the Giants have the biggest coaching staff in the NFL? It seems like they keep making up new positions in order to hire people.
