Ja’Marr Chase could go in the top-5
In the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft there are three wide receivers that stick out from the rest of the pack in LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase and Alabama wide receivers Jaylen Waddle and Devonta Smith.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network mentioned on Twitter a top talent evaluator told him that Chase is “best wide receiver prospect since Julio [Jones]”
Now it would take a miracle for Chase to fall all the way to 11, right in the New York Giants’ laps. The only way they will be able to get him is if they trade up. But that won’t happen after they signed Kenny Golladay as a free agent.
There is a small chance Chase could fall to the Giants because of how many teams want the top quarterbacks in this draft and could make moves to trade up. It could cause a ripple affect that could help New York.
I think Chase will go anywhere between picks five to nine because the Miami Dolphins, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers could all use a top-tier receiver.
