Dyami Brown is a dynamic player
Even if the New York Giants don’t take a wide receiver early on during the 2021 NFL Draft, I got a feeling they could select one in the mid rounds.
One player that might intrigue the Giants and general manager Dave Gettleman is North Carolina wide receiver Dyami Brown.
Pro Football Focus compare Brown to former Giants’ wide receivers Mario Manningham and Steve Smith as well as current slot receiver Sterling Shepard.
It seems as though Brown has the speed to be a deep threat at the next level the way Manningham was.
Brown had an impressive 2020 season for the Tar Heels with 55 catches for 1,099 yards and eight touchdowns.
If the Giants were to select Brown, he wouldn’t have the pressure of starting right away and they could move him along slowly while learning from veterans like Shepard and Kenny Golladay. Who knows, he could be Big Blue’s new slot receiver a couple of years from now.
