Aldrick Rosas was in bad shape
The New York Giants released kicker Aldrick Rosas in July of 2020 after he pled no contest to three misdemeanors of hit and run in California after allegedly t-boning a vehicle and leaving the scene. He ended up getting three years probation for the incident.
TMZ Sports has obtained the arrest video that shows Rosas bloodied and barefoot on the side of the road.
In the video you can hear a police officer telling Rosas, “Yeah, you’re a big boy. Get down on your knees. You’re just a big boy, I want you down on your knees.”
Rosas finally listened to the police officer and answered questions about the crash.
“Are you hurting anywhere?” the officer asked. “Or are you just all bloodied up and not hurting?”
The officer then called in medics after realizing how badly injured Rosas was.
Even though Giants released Rosas he ended up signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in September of 2020. Throughout the season he was signed to their active roster from their practice squad.
Rosas had been with the Giants since 2017 and was a steady player with a very strong leg. The good news is that they were able to replace him with veteran Graham Gano who had a very good 2020 season.
