Giants are not getting Ja’Marr Chase
Even though the New York Giants signed Kenny Golladay in free agency, no one can rule out them using the 11th overall pick on a wide receiver.
ESPN’s Jordan Raanan mentioned on this week’s “Breaking Big Blue” podcast that the Giants met with LSU wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Unfortunately though, he says they won’t have a chance to select him because he’s not going to fall to 11. He also said that tight end Kyle Pitts won’t be an option either.
“There’s really no scenario in which those guys make it to 11,” Raanan said.
NFL teams always do their homework on prospects no matter what and they have to because they never know when a player might fall into your lap on draft night.
I’ll never forget when Aaron Rodgers fell all the way to 24 back in 2005. Now the guy is a future Hall of Fame quarterback.
If the Giants are going to get a receiver, the bet case scenario would be Jaylen Waddle and/or Devonta Smith falling to them.
