Could the Giants land someone like Kyle Trask?
While the New York Giants have made it clear that they fully believe in their current starting quarterback, Daniel Jones, is there a chance they could still use one of their draft picks on a signal-caller during the 2021 NFL Draft?
I think so. But let’s be honest, with New York not having many draft picks to work with this year, I would only expect them to draft someone that falls drastically and I don’t think they would pull the trigger on a quarterback until the sixth round if it make sense.
For example, if someone like Florida quarterback Kyle Trask were to fall and the Giants can get him late, I think they would make the move to take him.
It seems like every year, no matter, a “big name” quarterback falls and I think the Giants will take one if it makes sense. But the odds are, with the Giants not having a lot of draft picks, I don’t think they’ll take a quarterback this year. If things don’t work out with Jones in 2021, I think they will just take a quarterback early on in the 2022 draft.
