Kwity Paye could be a good option for the Giants
The New York Giants can go in so many directions with the 11th overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft.
During this week’s “Breaking Big Blue” podcast, ESPN’s Jordan Raanan said that he doesn’t see the Giants using the 11th overall pick on University of Miami edge rusher Jaelan Phillips because of all of the questions that surround him. But he did say that Michigan pass rusher Kwity Paye might be their top option for the first round.
“Now the two edge guys that come to my mind the most are Kwity Paye…If they pick at 11 I believe Kwity Paye is gonna be the top option,” said Raanan.
The other guy that Raanan mentioned as an option is Georgia’s Azeez Ojulari, but he doesn’t think New York would use the 11th pick on him. He’s more of a late first round prospect. Someone that could go in the late teens or early 20’s, so New York would be smart to trade down and grab him if that’s the way they want to go.
