I don’t agree with this trade idea
ESPN’s Bill Barnwell has written a piece where he comes up with draft day trades for all 32 NFL teams.
When it comes to the New York Giants, Barnwell has a trade that would help New York move up to get Florida tight end Kyle Pitts, while also unloading current starter Evan Engram to the Buffalo Bills.
As you can see in the trade below, the Giants would get the 7th overall pick from the Detroit Lions and give up the 11th overall pick as well as their second round pick in addition to Engram.
This seems like way too much. As much as Engram was up and down last season he could bounce back in 2021. Also, moving up four spots to seven doesn’t guarantee that the Giants would even be able to get Pitts.
This doesn’t make much sense to me because the Giants already only have six picks. If they make this trade it would leave them with five.
