Jaycee Horn has an NFL pedigree
With the world still dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic, the NFL Scouting Combine was canceled this year so teams like the New York Giants had to interview players via Zoom.
During an interview with NFL insider Josina Anderson, South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn mentioned that he’s spoken with the Giants as well as the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles.
“They were all great meetings,” Horn said. “I’m just sitting back and waiting. I’m hearing all types of different stuff, [but] I’m just ready to be on a team and get ready for the season.”
Even though the Giants already have James Bradberry and Adoree Jackson, we do know that they like Alabama’s Patrick Surtain II, so they’re clearly thinking about drafting a corner this coming week.
I don’t think the Giants will take Horn in the first round, but if he slides into the second anything can happen. Don’t be surprised if they do add a corner in this year’s draft because depth is crucial in the NFL.
