Giants have a tough decision to make
I just wrote earlier how in Peter King’s final NFL mock draft for NBC Sports, he has the New York Giants selecting Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons with the 11th overall pick.
What’s interesting about what King wrote is that he says that Giants’ head coach Joe Judge loves wide receiver Devonta Smith, while general manager Dave Gettleman loves Parsons.
Three things I’ve heard: Joe Judge loves DeVonta Smith; the organization likes cornerback Jaycee Horn a lot; and Dave Gettleman loves Parsons.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise given the fact that there have been reports already about the Giants really liking both Smith and his college teammate Jaylen Waddle. I’m also not shocked that Gettleman likes Parsons, but I got a feeling that Judge isn’t as crazy about him due to his off the field red flags.
King also mentioned that the organization really likes South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn, who has met with the Giants via Zoom.
Thursday can’t come quick enough.
