NFl trying to help the U.S. reach herd immunity
With COVID-19 vaccinations slowing down within the United States, the White House is working with the NFL to help give people more of an incentive to get a vaccine and help slow the spread of the virus.
The NFL plans on offering 50 tickets for the 2021 Super Bowl to fans who get vaccinated. Details on how you can win a pair of tickets will be announced this coming Saturday night during Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World, which will be shown on ABC.
The fact of the matter is that as a country, if we don’t reach herd immunity it will put us at risk for another COVID surge during the winter and ultimately put everyone’s health at risk.
We do know that NFL teams like the New York Giants plan on having fans in the stands this coming fall and there is a good chance that they will need to prove that they’re vaccinated in order to attend.
