Kadarius Toney held out
The New York Giants finished up their second day of rookie minicamp on Saturday and once again first round pick, wide receiver Kadarius Toney was limited after not participating in the team conditioning drill on Friday.
On Saturday Toney was spotted at the end of practice on the sideline stretching due to what may have been cramps. Head coach Joe Judge spoke with the media afterwards and said that it wasn’t injury related.
”It’s not an injury situation,” Judge said after practice. “Every player out here is on their own program.”
You have to remember that these guys haven’t played any football in months, so cramping wouldn’t be a surprise and the Giants may want to make sure Toney doesn’t suffer an injury if something isn’t feeling right.
Toney only dropped three passes during his time at Florida, but dropped one on Saturday. Not a big deal at all since it’s rookie minicamp. It can’t get worse than tight end Evan Engram last season.
