Who the Giants’ biggest playmaker?
The New York Giants have a lot of new offensive weapons so I decided to rank their top home run hitters for the upcoming 2021 NFL season. Here’s my list:
7. RB – Devontae Booker
Booker is a versatile running back that can take the ball to the house whether it’s from a hand off or catching it out of the back-field.
6. WR – Darius Slayton
I would have Slayton higher on this list, but he’s not consistent enough when it comes to beating opposing defenses deep. Having Kenny Golladay on the team should definitely help him going forward by taking attention away from him.
5. Kadarius Toney
We really have no idea whether or not Toney’s game breaking ability will translate to the NFL, but right now, my expectation is that he will hit more home runs than Slayton.
4. John Ross
Ross is one of the fastest players in the NFL which is why I have him this high on the list. I like his ability more than Slayton, which is why he’s above him and he’s higher than Toney because the rookie is unproven.
3. Evan Engram
I know Engram had issues with dropping passes last year, but his athleticism at the tight end position is crazy. He’s essentially a wide receiver playing tight end and it s mismatch for opposing defenses.
2. Kenny Golladay
Golladay isn’t the fastest receiver, but his catch radius and ability to get seperation are what separates him from other receivers. He also has great height at 6-foot-3 that helps him go up and get passes at their highest point.
1. Saquon Barkley
Barkley is by far the Giants’ biggest home run hitter because of his freakish ability to break away from defenders and score touchdowns whether as a receiver or a running back.
