Kadarius Toney is one of many new weapons for Daniel Jones
The final player that the New York Giants had to sign from the 2021 NFL Draft is now signed.
Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network reported on Thursday that the Giants have agreed to terms with first round pick, wide receiver Kadarius Toney.
Toney will be a part of a loaded group of wide receivers on the Giants’ roster with the additions of Kenny Golladay and John Ross in free agency, aside from already having Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton.
Toney didn’t attend last week’s voluntary OTA sessions, but this isn’t a big deal since they are in fact voluntary. He is a player that the Giants can line up on the outside, in the slot or even in the back-up. Not to mention he has an arm after playing quarterback in high school, so we could see some wide receiver option passes at some point.
Toney could also see a lot of work in the slot if Shepard is unable to stay healthy, which has been an issue as of late for the veteran receiver.
