Saquon Barkley covered a lot of topics
New York Giants’ star running back Saquon Barkley spoke with the media on Wednesday as he continues to sit while he rehabs his torn ACL.
Barkley once again admitted that it was hard watching the Giants play last year and not being able to help them.
As much as Barkley would like to get back on the field as soon as possible, he said that he’s learned the importance of being patient. He knows it’s about taking small steps and not one big one. Barkley also refused to give a timeline on when he will return to the field. He didn’t even want to reveal where he is in his rehab.
Barkley would only say, “I’m doing well.”
I think we can all assume that Barkley will not play in the preseason. The question is, when will he start practicing with his teammates? That of course will determine when and if he actually plays in the Giants’ season opener against the Denver Broncos.
