John Ross already injured
The main reason the Cincinnati Bengals let wide receiver John Ross walk as a free agent this offseason and sign with the New York Giants is because of his injury history. He’s been unable to stay on the field and make a consistent impact during his short career.
\With that being said, Ross wasn’t able to finish Thursday’s minicamp practice.
The good news is that the Giants aren’t relying on Ross because of how deep they are at the wide receiver position, but if he wants to stay in the NFL, he will need to figure out how to keep his body in one piece.
If Ross can stay healthy he will give the Giants some needed depth behind Sterling Shepard in the slot, who had his own injury concerns over the past couple of years.
Hopefully Ross is fine and was only taken off the field as a precaution. When training camp starts in six weeks, it will be interesting to see how long her lasts before getting injured. We can only hope he’s able to stay on the field.
