Giants’ football is almost back
We’re about six weeks away from training camp starting and almost eight weeks from the start of the preseason. We’ve already known who the New York Giants will play this summer, but now we have the dates and times for their three preseason matches.
Yes, the Giants and the rest of the NFL are now only playing three games with their now being 17 regular season games. The preseason games are as follows:
- Saturday, Aug. 14 vs. Jets, 7:30 pm
- Sunday, Aug. 22 at Browns, 1 pm
- Sunday, Aug. 29 vs. Patriots, 6 pm
It’s interesting that the GIants have an afternoon preseason game against the Cleveland Browns. I can’t remember if they’ve ever had one of those before.
There have been reports of the Giants practicing with the New England Patriots leading up to their game. Now the same goes for New York and the Browns.
What’s interesting about the practices with the Patriots is that they would likely be up in Foxboro with the game being played at MetLife Stadium.
