John Ross should be able to help the Giants
I just posted an article on one of the training camp battles that will go down this summer between the New York Giants’ wide receivers. In the article I wrote that I don’t think wide receiver John Ross will be any higher than fourth on the depth chart. With that being said, I’m writing this article to predict what his stats will look like this coming season with Big Blue.
Even though I don’t see Ross being higher than fourth on the depth chart, I do think he has a chance to put up some numbers if Sterling Shepard and rookie Kadarius Toney don’t stay healthy. And I think offensive coordinator Jason Garrett will run more four wide receiver sets.
Toney only finished one offseason practice and Shepard has had a hard time staying healthy over the past few seasons. So there is a chance for Ross to get some snaps in 2021.
My prediction for Ross this coming season is 27 catches for 365 yards and two touchdowns.
