Saquon Barkley looks ready
One of the biggest questions facing the New York Giants as they prepare for training camp and the preseason is when star running back Saquon Barkley will be ready to go as he continues to rehab from a torn ACL.
Barkley posted a video on his Instagram account of himself running and cutting and he looks very good.
I think it’s safe to say that Barkley should be ready for the Giants’ week one opener against the Denver Broncos. Don’t expect him though to play in the preseason and he will likely be limited in training camp out of precaution.
Also when it comes to training camp, I don’t think Barkley will be on the field when things kick off in about five weeks. New York is going to be as careful as they can with one of the NFL’s top backs.
With Devontae Booker now in the mix, the Giants could also limit Barkley’s snaps early on during the regular season.
