Joe Judge does a great job managing his players
Despite the fact that the New York Giants finished the 2020 NFL season with a 6-10 record, it was obvious that head coach Joe Judge has the respect of his players. Especially his veterans after they supported him when he had to discipline Golden Tate after his outburst during the season.
Giants’ quarterback Daniel Jones was a guest on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Thursday and talked about what a great leader Judge is.
“He’s a great leader,” Jones said. “Every time he’s up in front of the team, everyone’s listened, everyone’s sitting up straight and locked into what he’s saying. Certainly has the respect of the team and the guys. That’s because of how well he knows the game, how well he knows the game across the board. Offense, defense, special teams. He just knows football and guys respect that.”
It seems like Judge has the learned how to manage his team in a similar fashion to New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Alabama head coach Nick Saban after working under both legendary coaches.
Only time will tell though if Judge can lead the Giants to a Super Bowl title.
