Giants need another edge rusher?
The New York Giants made a lot of roster moves this offseason, but maybe they should make at least one more big one before the season stats.
ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates has posted an article giving his thoughts on one move that every NFL team should make leading up to the 2021 season. For the Giants he says they should sign edge rusher Trent Murphy.

Sign edge rusher Trent Murphy
The Giants addressed their need for edge rushers through the draft by taking Georgia’s Azeez Ojulari and UCF’s Elerson Smith, the former of which could well be in line to start. Murphy would be a veteran complement to the group.
After three seasons in Buffalo, his market has been quiet thus far this offseason, but he showed very well in the Bills’ playoff win against the Ravens, serving as a reminder of some of the length and instincts he brings to the table. While not a major sack producer, Murphy would provide some experience to a young group.
The 30 year-old Murphy is a former second round pick of the Washington Football Team and has been a very good pass rusher during his career.
I am surprised that the Giants haven’t added a veteran pass rusher to put alongside Azeez Ojulari. I know they signed Ryan Anderson, but he’s not an established player like Murphy. Even someone like Melvin Ingram wouldn’t be a bad idea.
