NY Giants add some players before camp
Earlier in the week the New York Giants worked out running backs Tyler Ervin and Mike Weber as well as defensive back Jordyn Peters.
Now Big Blue has announced that they’ve signed both Weber and Peters.
Weber was actually a seventh round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in 2019 out of Ohio State University. His first season in the NFL was Jason Garrett’s final year with the Cowboys. So there is a connection between them. He also spent some time with the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs.
When it comes to Peters, he’s a rookie that went undrafted out of the Auburn University and then signed with the New York Jets. But he was then released shortly after. He played as a nickel corner and safety during his time in college.
With the Giants adding both Peters and Weber I believe they will have to release two players in order to make room for them on their 90-man roster as they prepare to open up training camp next week.
