Remember to Use Your Golden State Stimulus Funds

You’ve undoubtedly heard about the various federal stimulus payouts, but did you know that there is also a Golden State stimulus that is only accessible to California citizens who meet specific criteria? The state of California will provide a one-time payment of $600 or $1,200.

If you’re unsure if you got the stimulus money, here are some simple things to follow.

There were two Golden State Stimulus payouts in all. To receive $600, claim California Earned Income Tax Credit on your 2020 California tax return, or file your 2020 tax return with an Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) and up to $75,000 to receive $1,200. (source)
