Nestlé Purina PetCare Corporation has widened a recall of a prescription dog food that has been linked to vomiting and kidney failure in dogs. Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diets EL Elemental (PPVD EL) is a recalled prescription dry dog food due to "possibly increased doses of vitamin D."
