Here’s how your blood type related to your heart’s health!

Your blood type may be linked to how healthy your heart is! You wouldn’t be able to tell by looking at us. 

Still, every second of every day, tiny differences in our blood put us into one of these groups: A-positive, A-negative, B-positive, B-negative, O-negative, O-positive, AB-positive, and AB-negative.

Not only is it essential to know your blood type in an emergency, but it can also tell you a lot about your health. Blood type may be more important than we think when determining how likely you are to get certain diseases, like heart disease. Some people may be less likely to get heart problems because of these invisible differences in their blood, while others may be more likely to get them.

Prioritize Rest

If you want to reduce your risk of high cholesterol and high blood pressure, two major contributors to heart disease, make getting enough quality sleep a top priority. Set a bedtime routine and aim for 8 hours of sleep every night. Talk to your doctor if you need more rest but are still experiencing daytime lethargy. Your inability to fall or stay asleep may be due to anything more fundamentally wrong with you.

Get Moving

Reducing your risk of heart disease requires a combination of a heart-healthy food plan and adequate activity. Daily exercise for at least 30 minutes has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and other ailments by as much as 70%. Maintaining a healthy weight and reducing your risk of developing diabetes and other obesity-related disorders are two additional benefits of regular physical activity.

Avoid Tobacco 

If you care about your heart health, quitting smoking is one of the healthiest decisions you can make. Tobacco’s toxic ingredients lower blood oxygen levels and damage blood vessels in the heart. When oxygen levels drop, the heart pumps faster to bring in more.
